If not due to the color scheme on the body, it’s hard to tell Dyson DC44 vs V6 apart. They are identical in terms of appearance. However, while the body of Dyson V6 is painted in red, that of Dyson DC44 is blue. In addition, compared to the DC44, the V6 is much taller, 28.4 and 46.4 inches respectively. The upright design is perfect for back-problem people as they don’t have to bend too much. In addition to that, the slim structure make the machines elegant and space-saving.
The slim and lightweight design are two of the most attractive points of those units. With the weight of around 5.1 pounds, Dyson DC44 and V6 Absolute are lightweight enough for you to clean above ground areas, such as curtains or ceiling. In addition, like I mentioned above, these two units are bagless vacuums which don’t depend on the position of socket. You can carry it around without worrying cord and string. More importantly, they use batteries which means you can even do the job if there is a power outage in your areas.

Currently, the DC44 is more expensive than the V6 Absolute, around $400 and $300 respectively. The variant depends on stores and their services. In general, they belong to high-end products from Dyson, so middle- or high-income families can afford.
On Amazon, there is over 1,000 of Dyson DC44 sold and about 59% of them gave 5 star. They praised it for great battery life, great assortment of attachments and excellent performance. However, they were upset about its container.
The V6 Absolute receives better rank as 65% of customers rated it 4 stars. Those who had limited area to clean complimented for doing a good job. Moreover, most people were satisfied with the fluffy head and cleaner head for hardwood floor and carpet respectively. Yet, they weren’t impressed with the wall mount charger.
After putting Dyson DC44 vs V6 Absolute side by side, I found that although Dyson V6 Absolute is more pricey, its result is not impressive compared to the other. Therefore, I highly recommend the Dyson DC44 model that shows satisfying performance at an affordable price.
