The combination of technology and creation has no boundary. Shark is one of a few companies which prove that statement. Whenever I thought its products can’t get any better, Shark doesn’t disappoint me, at least not in the last couple of year. With every release, good vacuums evolved into even better machines. It’s the reason why even though its Rotator was a big success, they kept on spinning the new concept with the birth of Rotator Powered Lift-away series. There are 15 different models, so people can easily get confused. To make it clear, Shark NV682 vs NV752 belong to different models. While the NV682 is Rotator Speed, the other is Rotator TruePet.

Both of them have the same warranty of 7 years. Besides, Shark NV682 vs NV752 feature several advanced technologies, such as HEPA filtration system plus Anti-Allergen Complete Seal technology, Never Loses Suction technology, etc. Although Shark NV682 vs NV752 belong to different models, they share lots of things in common. Or, the review between the NV752 with more advanced version, the NV801 (Shark NV752 vs NV801).

While the NV682 comes with a silver and blue combination, the other has dark red. Secondly, the main notable difference is the size. As far as I have observed, the Shark NV752 is larger than the NV682. The reason is that Shark NV752 is the original Shark Rotator Powered Lift-away model in the form of full size upright vacuum. Meanwhile, the NV682 is compact size versatile vacuum. You can see the slight difference through dimension information. That of the NV752 is 46 x 11 x 13 inches in comparison with the NV682, 46 x 12 x 12 inches.

However, there is small difference in weigh between Shark NV682 and NV752. The latter is heavier, full upright vacuum weighs 15.6 pounds and lift-away pod weighs about 8 pounds. Whereas, the full upright mode of the NV682 is about 13.3 pounds and the lift-away part weighs less than 6 pounds.

This is due to the fact that they can trap up to 99.97% of small particles and allergens, returning fresh air to the house.

  • Between these two, only Shark NV752 is integrated LED lights on the handle for uses in dark. In addition, the newer is designed with larger dust cup capacity, about 3.3 quarts versus 2.9 quarts of the NV682.
  • Another difference is the suction control. It seems the Shark NV752 has no variable suction control on the handle which the NV682 has.
